  • Quick Titler questions

    1. Is it possible to open the text properties to select a font size etc, before typing anything first? I can't seem to open this straight off.

    2. Can I use International symbols or the character map to get a copyright symbol, for example?

    3. If I am am preparing a rolling title with credits can I justify left (the job title) and justify right (person's name) easily?

    1. I haven't been able to figure out a way if there is...
    2. Copyright is alt + 0,1,6,9 on the num pad
    3. Do you mean in the same line? I think you will have to justify one end yourself...

      Thanks for the help.

      1. OK then that's the way it must be designed to work. Not the way I would like it though!

I thought there must be a way to get the copyright symbol. It is the same method for Windows character map. My previous editing software had the ability to view these all from within the program.

      3. Yes, I want two columns with the left justified and the right column justified to the right on the same line. Perhaps the manual method then?

Use the Character Map utility (Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools) to view the special characters that are available in any given font, what the keyboard combination for it is, or to copy-and-paste characters directly into another application.

I used Quick Titler to add "© APN Tele-Video 2010" on a project yesterday but I just used copy and paste to drop that line in.

I can now do the copyright symbol, thanks.

I don't have TmP. Just waiting, and hoping, for better in version 6?
