Panning Mode and Color Space Conversion and why they would need to be compatible with Edius Pro 3? (in the "Sequence Settings")

Why would Help be without a "Search" function?

    Thanks Guys,

Panning Mode: In EDIUS v4, a change was made as to how the panning for mono channels was done. Basically, if you set track "A1" to lock channel 1 exclusively, the audio will have 100% panning to the left. In EDIUS Pro 3 mode, the panning is not changed at all (it's 0%). This option is to allow people to choose which panning decision is made.

Colorspace is a bit trickier - we made some further changes to HD colorspace handling in v4, which may make some material look different to material that had been edited in v3. If you need to mix material from v4 with v3, you may want to enable the v3 compatibility.

      Thanks Kenneally...

As the years pass, will we need this feature (in the future), or will "Standard" be the standard? (sorry)

The panning thing is more a preference - I've grown used to the method now employed (100% directional).

The colorspace thing should be set to Standard unless you really need to go back to v3 mode for legacy purposes.
