    Error Code e0000007
Burning DVD using Burn to Disc 2 times so far got this Error. Suspect its refering to Disc as the image has been produced. Never had this with this brand of Disk (Pidata Ritek G05) usually 100%. Any suggestions

Same error code here. The encoding part seems to go fine, and the error occurs in the beginning of the burning process. Does anyone have an idea of what is causing this? DVD incompatability? This comes after just having 5.51 installed, although I did have occasional hiccups with 5.01 as well.

My problem was (at least temporarily) solved by using a different brand of DVDs (same specs though). Perhaps the drive was not happy with the first brand? Might not be an Edius issue at all...

Ridata G05??? make sure they still play next month (I never had one last longer than 6 months)

no problems at all with Taiyo Yuden

also, make sure burner firmware is the latest to make sure it can handle the latest die changes by the makers

Not Ri data, Pidata, I have no problems at all with these - no returns or compatibility problems. I always burn at 4 speed

you are lucky, maybe different manufacturing plant

when I used them, I had a 99% failure rate

99% could not be read by any DVD player 6 months after burning
