If you switch from Premiere like I just did you notice that it's very hard finding the corresponding shortcut key's (or names in the keyboard lay-out) where you want to assign a key to.
I'm editing a project now an it's driving me nuts that I can't seem to find the right keys for some basic actions.
For instance:
I want to ripple delete a selected clip but I want everything on the right of that clip to move to the left to close the gap. Whatever I try the ripple delete is only applied to the selected track but all other audio and video clips on other v and a tracks don't move.
In premiere you had a track select tool where you could select all clips on one track on the right of your cursor or if you pressed alt it would select all v and a tracks on the right of the cursor. Does edius have a similar action to do this?
I found the shortcut key to cut a selected clip where the CTI is positioned but not the one to cut everything on the CTI cursor?
