I sometimes get something like that...
If I restart Edius, export works.
Go figure.

edius only allows 'correct specification' frame size/rates for MPEG/AVCHD/AVI output

Free form rates are only for WMV video

change your output to 'within specification' settings

On rendering my project I get the following error message; "The parameter is incorrect: 0x80070054"

I have several sequences in the project.

I cannot copy and paste the settings so hopefully this is not required to answer my question.

Could anybody kindly advice me on what this mean and how I can fix it?
