  • On TMPG 4 Xpress

I create an AVI in Canopus HQ format (1280 x 720, 25 fps, progressive) - source coming from Panasonic HPX172 PAL camera.

I found that TMPG 4 Xpress is unable to create an MPEG4 file of equal size (1280 x 720). The best it can offer under MPEG4 is 720 x 576.

I have to revert to Adobe Media Encoder CS4 to handle that.

Am I missing something in TMPG 4 Xpress?

I would like to encode in TMPG 4 Xpress as I found the Adobe coder very slow (even on my Xeon work station).

I was selecting ISO. Now that you mentioned it, I tried selecting the other option (AVC) - and can see the 1280 x 720 size. Thanks.
