DVD Authoring Question

I have made DVDs many times with and without menus, but I have a question that I probably should know the answer to.

I have been asked to make a DVD that has many chapters but with no menu. The client wants to play the DVD from the start but have it stop automatically after each chapter to allow for Q & A's. He then wants to resume from that point.

Is this possible?

yes, this is possible with DVD Lab Pro

DVD architect also allows advanced features and scripting, altough I never tried it (to stop or pause) it's just a command similar to return to sub or root menu, which I do al the time.

you will gladly buy a 3rd party product because it will do 100x that of what Edius can do

Edius is an editing software and will never be usable for advanced DVD authoring, otherwise it would be a DVD authoring software and not an editing software :)

I am happy with basic authoring up till now. I don't think I want to buy new software just for this one (non paying) job.
