      when you bring the resulting file back to Edius, you may have to set aspect to 16:9

        Yes, it did need the aspect changing to 16:9.

        Outputting to DVCam deck now.

        Out of interest, I'll do a comparison between the T4 conversion and the EX-3 downconversion/Blackmagic capture - and see what the difference is.
