That is one of the things that I have not figured out why it is an option.

          to tune down the volume

there is a curve.. can it be straight line
hmmmm...hmmm....maybe, eventually I understood the question not correct, in cause to my fractal english....

tune down the volume ==> with what tune down
Audiomixer / or fad in / or fade out / or ruberband ??

          @ Anton

application settings, application, set to linear and not log
this above setting have imho only a optical consequence ==> to the form, where the (same level curve) as waveform display on the timeline
this above setting have imho no consequence ==> to the level-curve himself

Evidence with pictures from the test: http://ediusforum.grassvalley.com/fo...d.php?t=10875&

Annotation from GrassValley_BH to this test:
CentralEurope is correct - rubber-band fades are always linear in EDIUS, regardless of how the level-points are displayed (log or %).

The result is exactly the same. If you want to achieve a non-linear adjustment, you'l have to add more level points, or use the Audio Mixer to write level-points for the fade.

              Hi
I read a lot of questions from "Location: seavideo"... who ever this location is..

But i missing some answer from you, in cause to questions from user, they spend her time to clearing your problem....

              example:
              CentralEurope queried:
tune down the volume ==> with what tune down
Audiomixer / or fad in / or fade out / or ruberband ??
              greetings from CentralEurope

                  My main point is

how to turn on the straight line point of the audio
instead of using this curve adjustment

I just want to know how to switch it to
