Today is one of those days. I have my copy of VisTitle on it's way but today I'm working on something so basic I think it may be a bug. For some reason Quick Titler will not let me create a title that is black with a white background. It seems like the white background is the problem (changing the font color to black is working). In the help section of QT (page 32) it says you have to export a still image as a bmp but it seems only if you're using a title with a background (I would think by "background" it means something other than a basic color). Anyhow, I did export the title as a bmp and that's not right either. Simply clicking on "white" in Background Properties won't change the color to white (it remains black) Ideas?

Create an object (rectangle) to fill the frame make it white and put the text on it. (make sure you set the transparency of the fill color to 0 or white will not be white . :)Last edited by GrassValley_SL; 05-05-2010, 09:13 PM. -
SL and Pat,
Thanks for the replies. I finally figured it out with a big work-around. I found a limitation in QT that I hope VT doesn't have. I didn't want to make my initial post too complicated so I didn't mention that I added a specific color change as well as movement. I used to be able to do a similar affect in premiere all the time (and very easily). When I finish this production I'll post it. I don't think I could describe it even though it's simple. Thanks.David
