copying filter - can I make a template?

Hi all,

Having to drag a filter from the information palette to drop onto other clips is annoying. Is there a way to stick the filter as a sequence or something in the timeline and just drag it from there onto clips?

You can drop onto multiple clips at once if that helps

1 Save it as a user preset in the effects pallet. Select all the clip and drag the filter on it.
2 Sequence the clips and drag the filter to that sequence.

But imho point 1 is the best way.

You can also drag straight into the information palette if you like if it is for a single clip (just be sure you have the correct clip selected)
