I just loaded 5.5. I've always used 2-pass VBR when making files for DVD authoring. Do I still need 2-pass with 5.5 to get best results? I can't even find the 1-pass/2-pass option now. Is it there? Thanks.

Did you have Procoder 3? If so you can still use it on the export for 2 Pass (under others in the export list). You have to decide if you need it. Right now I have the trial version I downloaded. I ordered the upgrade (I have ver 4.5 on my other machice) but it won't be here until Friday. So whatever conversion options come with the 5.5 I downloaded.Comment

Sorry, my mistake. My older Edius version is Pro 3 not 4.5. So the procoder built in there is what I've used (for years!).Comment
