  • Edius updates- why so quiet here?

I have some strange feelings about what is going on...
Just take a look at this:

    Version 4.25 ( Release: 4/13/2007)
Fixed errors when trying to start capturing a HDV stream.
Fixed errors in Batch Capture when running MPEG TS Writer.
Fixed errors when trying to select both sides of the clip and trim it.
Fixed errors in the icons on the Color Correction Setting dialogue.

    [P2 Option]
Fixed errors when canceling outputting at a P2 camera.
Fixed errors in displaying the file list when using P2 Store (in case cards with different capacity are used together).
Fixed errors in P2 SELECT Tool when trying to display the list on a P2 card.
Fixed errors in tools when restarting P2 SELECT Tool.

    Version 4.26 ( Release: 5/1/2007)
Fixed issue in the audio mixer (after changing the master volume, the playback level went too high).
Fixed issue with sequence clip (noise occurred when an audio filter and audio cross fade was applied to the clip).
Fixed issue with OHCI input (sometimes EDIUS crashed during deck control / capture from deck).
Fixed issue with rubber band (could not select the level point by mouse click).
Fixed issue when dragging & dropping clip to timeline (the track did not become active).
Fixed to support Alt+M and Alt+N on transitions.
Fixed issue with preset function in input settings.
Fixed issue with keyboard shortcut customization.
Fixed issue with rendering clips with speed change applied.
Fixed issue with playing back DV format files.
Fixed issue with shuttle playback (noise in audio).
Fixed issue with playing back nested sequences (noise in audio).
Fixed issue with TitleMotion Pro (failed to overwrite files).

What is going on? Same conspirance theory?

4.25 and 4.26 are interim releases between 4.24 and 4.5?

We haven't been given clearance to release on the non-Japan site. Most likely due to the upcoming release of 4.5.

Can't remember when I looked at 4.5 if the timeline cursor indicates output progress during export - how could I have missed checking on this? I'd love to see this fixed.

        Can anyone enlighten me?

            Updates

I don't see any updates after 4.24 when I go to support. Where are you seeing 4.25 & 4.26?

Wait for 4.5 - all those fixes are included, and it'll be officially supported outside of Japan (when released outside of Japan).

It's really not that far away..
