What is the Procedure to install upgrades from Version 5.0-5.5?

You need at least V5.10 before you can upgrade to V5.5. If you are still on V5.00, you need to patch to V5.10 first. -

If you are installing on a fresh system, you will need to first install from your original CD-ROM/DVD-ROM, apply the v5.10 update and then apply this update. You will also need to have your security dongle inserted.

Make sure you do not have Prodad Heroglyph installed as when you go to application settings in Edius 5.5 it will set windows backto the basic colour, all other Prodad software is fine.
