EX1-R & SD 16:9 Clips

My brother tells me that Edius isn't recognizing the flag for 16 x9 when he imports the SD clips into the bin window. So he had to change them to 16:9 manually from the clips properties window. Very Tedious, especially with 500 clips. So I wrote a script, similar to my SloMo scripts. So, just run the script and select the first clip in the bin window and tap the '~" key (not too fast though). NOTE: You cannot run the Bin Script and the SloMo Script at the same time because they both use the "~" key.

If you are in Detail mode in the Bin, and select all of the clips, you should be able to change them all at once

Correct no need for a script this can be done in EDIUS. Very simple.
Your 500 clips can be done with a shift select and a mouse click.
I described in a thread with screen shots . I will see if I can find it.

Put the bin in detail icon view.
Make sure the aspect is displayed in the bin
select the first clip
press shift
select the last.

every clip will be in a blue selection

On the last clip there is a triangle on the aspect.
Click it and select 1.422 aspect (16:9)

Every clip will now change to 16:9

Thanks for the heads up. I tried this in thumbnail view and and went to properties and changed it and only the first clip work. Who knew ? I should have came here first but I was too impatient to wait for an answer, had to get the job done. Thanks again guys.
