Still Export Problem

Is there a better way to export a still image from the timeline? Currently using .tga>Frame.

The skin tones of my export is washed-out and unacceptable to use on the timeline again.

Field/frame settings won't change the color, and stills are RGB.

Best you can do is color-correct - either after or before.

Since Edius exports whatever it sees, still images grabbed from video might not look good on a computer monitor...that's just reality.

Dont know if it makes a difference to the quality, but i always chaneg projejct settings from HDV to Full HD, just so i can work in square pixels.

I don't like any of those answers!

From previous posts I figured I can make a freeze frame by trimming a single frame and setting the speed to 1%. 100 frames, if I need more time, I can copy/paste as required.
