Ts writer

can anyone please explain why ts writer dose not allow me to print to tape.my canon hv 30 is set in the record pause mode and i have the m2t file in ts writer but when i go to write onto tape i keep getting "could not begin transferring. The device is used by other applications".I am using ts writer on its own
i am connected via firewire ito my lets edit capture card advc 1394

Have not done it in a long time but if i'm not wrong the cam/deck needs to be in playback mode, NOT cam/rec mode.

If using Windows 7 the FireWire driver needs to be the legacy ohci driver !

I removed the microsd card for photos and it worked.......... what the???
