  • What titler comes with Edius 5?

I have checked the spec for Edius 5.1, and there is no mention of TitleMotion Pro. Is it still bundled with version 5?

If not what might be bundled with 5.5?
Edius 8.53WG, Vistitle 2.8, Windows 10 x64 Pro Fall Update, Asus Z87 Pro, Intel i7-4770K, 16 GB 1600 Corsair Vengence LP RAM, Samsung 840 Pro SSD 256GB, WD Black 2TB media drive, Intel HD 4600 GPU, MSI GTX660 2GB VGA, Coolermaster Silencio 652 case, Noctua NH-U12S CPU cooler, Cakewalk UA-25EX USB audio interface, Cakewalk MA-15D monitor speakers, BM Intensity Pro 4K, PlextorPX-LB950SA BD writer, Dell U2410 Monitor

If you buy a hardware bundle, be sure and ask if it comes with it or not. Some do, some don't. Regardless of whether it is bundled with it or not, do yourself a favor and if you go the Edius route, buy VisTitle. Check in the Third Party Forum for reviews.

I have not heard of VisTitle before, is it available in the UK?

Will it be part of Edius 5.5?

            I don't think it will be in 5.5 .
Check the thirdparty forum as suggested all the info you need is there.

I don't know if the UK has a distributor yet or not. You can contact Jerry Chi (this info is in the link I gave you) directly in China or George Dame is the distributor here in the US. Cost is around $379. It will not be included in 5.5. Who knows after that?

I have been a sharp advocate for it since I acquired it. It is the best titler I have seen in many, many years. Well worth the money if you want to be able to create eye catching titles with superior quality in a very short amount of time. And it plugs into Edius where you can set it as your default titler.

I have looked at the third party forum link.

Perhaps I missed it, but is there a place to see what it looks like?

I have seen a video of an example of the end results from a user, but not what the UI looks like

                        John,

I've been a fan of TitleMotion since Inscriber in the dos years and it was included in my Edius 5 bundle.

But VisTitle is MUCH better and easier. It comes at a cost though. I bought through Jerry and it cost getting on for £300.

More or less retired now. Still on the Essex(UK) coast. Edius 8.2wg all sorts of other, more or less redundant kit - production & Post.

Perhaps Grass Valley could seize the opportunity and bundle it with version 6?

Depends if you want to wait 6-12 months for 'maybe'
