  • Moving clips on timeline?

Is it possible to select all active clips and tracks to the right of the timeline cursor and move them along together?

I have tried that, but I can only seem to move one track not all of them stacked underneath.

      What am I doing wrong?

you need to enable sync mode, I always have it on by default

sync mode is part of one of the timeline buttons in the dropdown menu

Thank you Anton, a learning curve, but not a steep one.

It takes a while to forget my old NLE program ways.

I think most of us have sync mode on and ripple mode off

I really HOPE they copy Adobe's function of temporarily activating a command like while holding the CTRL, SHFT or ALT buttons in Photoshop where you can temporarily activate the zoom command or the 'add\subtract to selection', etc...

Since I find myself CONSTANTLY clicking on the ripple, sync and overwrite buttons during an event edit, it would be SO helpful if you can hold down a key to temporarily activate those. (Like you can temporarily active\dis-activate the "snap-to" in Edius with the SHIFT button!)

Or at LEAST make the Sync button a button on its own so we don't have to do TWO clicks... first on the arrow beside the 'Overwrite" button and THEN on the Sync command.
