  • Edius and After Effects

I am running Edius 5.12 and have a question about the After Effects plug in.
Under 'Settings' and 'Plug in setting' there is a section called 'After Effects Filter Manager'. Now how does this work? Am I supposed to go to my Adobe After Effects sub directory and highlight the effects directory and that will then be available in Edius?
Is Edius able to use After Effects filters?
    I am confused.

I did a long report on EDIUSAE Filter Bridge (BETA), here to download.

After that ... I must say that there is another revised version EDIUSAEFilter-510-20090320-build1016 that works better than the BETA

Like all "Bridge" effects (AE, VST) pick to link the filter locations within your PC, then they appear in E5.

Not all AE filters work as they should, so don't be disappointed.

      Still, a great improvment.

Do I just load the folder with the filters/effects or do I pick them one at a time.

Just load the location of the folder. Then all of the individual effects will show up in the effects palette under AE Bridge
