  • Microsoft AVI

I've 10 mins of SD footage on the Edius 5 timeline and I think I need to export it as a Microsoft AVI file. It has to be imported into adobe premier.

    Any advice please, thanks.

Pick DV AVI in the Exporter...
Pick AVI > DV and pick "Enable Conversion"
pick DV NTSC/PAL (your local flavor) Pick Export
Assign a filename and mark the "Use MS codec" tickbox and save.

I wish the codec choice was back in the Exporter, but that's me.

Thats right, I forgot, Dvcam was about 12/13GB per hour.

Now I need to put it onto a DVD for my friend.
