Burn To Disc Mystery

Ok, now it works fine, marked or not!
Using the original 4 hr file.
Thank gawd the client has gone home.

If I have a 4 hr. DV project I need burned to disc with Timecode, the simple solution (it seems) would be to render a single file, bring it to the Time line, cut it in half and burn it.
But, nooooooo!
E5 seems to think there's still 4 hrs of footage (remember. the file has been cut to 2 hrs.) and will only want to burn to a DL/DVD!
So I render a 2 hr. file and it's fine.

What's with that?
I recall a similar issue with "Phantom Footage" in Sequences before.
