That was GREAT Mule! Thoroughly enjoyed it. As I am into Bluegrass music, and play the 5 string banjo, and video Bluegrass festivals in Australia, and use Edius to edit them, this was most educational for me. Thanks for posting it. Been to Merlefest in 2004 but only have stills in the video I made, as they did not allow any videoing there, pity.

I hope that the tutorial gave you enough direction. If necessary I could try to share the preset used in the tutorial with you.

tutorial for StarWars opening

Hi there,
although my tutorial was created in an older version of Edius, the present versions can do the same.

I have produced similar effect to what you describe using Title Motion Pro. Set the title to ANIMATE, add a keyframe, decide on starting and finishing positions, adjust the scale to suit start keyframe (say 1) and finish keyframe (probably close to 0), adjust the same TWIST to both keyframes (about -10 or whatever suit you) and you have it.

Have you tried Blender?
It's pretty simple to create a title like that in blender and export it as an AVI file.Last edited by Gundark; 03-05-2010, 04:42 AM.

You can use a simple scroll title made with Quicktitler, put it on a V-Track and use 3D PIP to get the typical 3D Star Treck effect.
There is a Startreck title preset on Heroglyph 2.6x
