  • Anyone using Edius 5 at 720/24p?

Is anyone out there using Edius 5 for HD footage at 720/24p (real 24p) successfully? How?

    Thanks.

Yes. I am currently editing a documentary that was shot in 720 24P. How to edit this? I have the proper preset @24p (23.98) and edit as normal. Are you having problems?

BTW- I also have all the clips converted over to Canopus HQ.

What's real 24p? If you mean 24p like film, then no.

Most films, even today, are edited in 23.98 then onlined at 24p with final film sources.

Sorry guys, the forum refuses to notify me of replies.

Yes, I'm using Nikon DSLRs and they produce MJPEG 24p footage, not 23.98. The only preset that works is 1080/24p. If I try to use a 720/23.98p preset, there is a strange double vision effect when I play it...like an extreme motion blur.
