Import .AVI with timecode

Is anything in EDIUS 5.12 that can help to import .avi files with start TC(Source In) from other file?(.xml for examplre or any other). I have many .avi files(with canopus HQ codec & stereo pcm wav) and want to import them with various start TC. I tried Panasonic P2 format(.xml & structure of directories) but can't use .avi instead .mxf
Can .avi files contain start TC?
