loss of bin, presets etc

Somehow i cannot see the bin/presets/information window
tried the view, layout, normal trick but i don't get back the initial window defaults. What am i missing, or do i need to re-install, edius v5.12 or can I get this from my other machine?

Did you hit H to see if they were not activated?

Have you tried to reset the layout by going to the GV logo at the top left corner of the monitor window and choose layout, apply, normal?

Yes they are all showed active, and I have tried the reset layout to normal but the bin window does not appear.

If you use dual display try switch to single then set to normal layout.

Yes tried that, not worked.
Tried to uninstall, re-install from version 5.01 but the asset window doesn't show so there must be some fragment of old user settings/registry entry which still prevents the bin window from displaying. How do you do a clean install without reformatting the hard disk?

only one monitor on the grafic-card (switch to single view ==> but with hardware)
create a new windoof-User in this config.

yes there is only one monitor on graphic card, spark board installed for hdmi outputs

The view vectorscope brings up new window, audio mixer doesn't show or toggle forn view menu or icon, B or H doesn't work from keyboard nor layout normal from any menu.

Really puzzled how this happened, must be a way to do a full uninstall of the user presets, profiles etc. tried deleting appdata/roaming/edius5 folders
and program data/canopus/edius

What registry values hold this window size position detail??

yes started with new profile, new presets but nothing will bring back the bin window

Solved problem, sowehow external monitor was turned on in control panel, personalisation and everything was showing on the second monitor ( which was disconnected from the graphics card port ) so now turning off extend desktop onto monitor solved the problem and everything is back on one display!
