  • Unable to Delete Emply Folder

I landed up with a couple of folders that are empty and cannot be deleted. I can save & delete files to these folders, but cannot delete the folder itself. Any suggestions?

Wow, I haven't seen this problem since the Rex days. Try going into windows explorer and delete them from there.

Had the same problem with .jpg files recently.
Explorer would not delete, opened a DOS window and deleted from there.

Is your trash empty? Windows may stop you deleting a folder when there is a file in the trash that came from that folder. Otherwise Windows cannot restore?

            Deleting empty folders

Just start the machine in safe mode, more than likley theres a program running in the background thats using them. If your using XP I think its F-6 on startup.
