Buying a download ver of Edius 5

I'm busy trying out the trial ver of Edius 5, and was wondering if it is possible to buy a download version. If there is a dongle needed, could that be shipped seperately?

Edius5 comes with 2 x DVD full of goodies, none of them are part of the trial and the trial is way outdated

There is no download version of EDIUS 5 for purchase.
You have to buy the boxed version which comes with a dongle.

Thanks Anton and steve for the quick replies. Thats unfortunate. I am waiting for a firm price from a South African reseller. Seems it will be about $300 to $350 US more than the $800 I've seen listed online in the US.

I'd hoped I could save that. Just for interest sake 7gb would probably take about 12 to 15 hrs. I'm using Premiere CS4, but Edius just seems so much more solid and stable apart from being faster. Its got a good feel.

Ditching a fairly new Prem CS4 for Edius is a difficult decision for someone who doesnt make money out of it. Its just a hobby for me.

Anyway its nice to know that a new package would be a big improvement on the trial I'm using and thanks again for the help.
