A few months back I posted a thread about not being able to install TMP on a new Dell laptop with Edius 5 and Windows 7 operating system. Grass Valley sent me a new disk in the event the one I had was corrupt. Well, the new disk did not get TMP installed either. I just about gave up and then an idea popped up in my head. I installed Edius 5 and TMP on an XP machine, copied the TMP folder over to my laptop and now TMP works. Thought I would share this in case someone else has the same problem. In any case I want to thank everybody for all of the other suggestions.

I have swithed from Edius to the Adobe CS 4 Master Collection but I have to admit TMP was a good titler. The quick titler of Edius aint bad either.

Are you definitely sure TMPro isn't supported in EDIUS 5 anymore? My EDIUS 5 disks came with TMPro onboard.

Junk_Man32, where did you learn that information?
I'm looking at my Edius V5 boxed disk set, and like Ting mentioned, I've got a TitleMotion Pro Installation CD disk inside the packaging. I'm interested how you came to your announcement.

He may mean.. t.m.p. isn't supported by it's manufacturer, anymore?

I don't know, but Inscriber website is hard to find/redirected, & the product information I found on titlemotion was from 2001.

              :)

I grew up with Inscriber from the DOS years so, having recently migrated to Edius, am very pleased that TMP is part of it.

It does appear that Harris are no longer interested in TMP and my stand alone one I think was the last at Ver 4.1 I think.

I still like it even if it is a bit dated and quirky, especially fiddly for animating titles.

I'm following with great interest the introduction of VisTitle though, and if it's as good as implied will make a great addition to Edius.

Threads get confusing when posters don't say what is correct...I have Edius 5.12, and TMP works perfect with it..I had no problems installing , nor opening old titles from previous versions of edius either....It is what I use, and even though VisTitle looks promising, it has a lot of cleaning up before I will even think of using it....I resembles heroglyph in many ways, but looks like a much better choice, but I can truely say, TMP works well in Edius 5.xx

TMPro is still horrible at Rolls.

How's VisTitler holding up in that front?
