Quick Titler problem

Hi,
I have a problem with Edius Quick Titler in 5:12, it freezes, I have to quit with Ctrl + Alt + Delete to exit Edius, I have Win 7 Ultimate, Title Motion Pro works.
I installed the new Edius, the same problem, there is someone with the same problem?
I do not use Quick Titler, but I want it to work!

If you want it to work the answer is simple use vista or xp.
There is no official EDIUS support for windows 7 support yet.

I'm using Quicktitler without problems on my system, also Win 7 64 ultimate.

Yes, Quick Titler works here too.
However - there are some other things that I am sure they are working on - like the faint gray text against white background when using dialog windows in import operations.

That is a Windows 7 problem not a Quicktitler problem

I make a scroll title with Quick Titler, save it, and try to adjust the speed the way the pdf manual tells me. I have the title set to stop on screen and hold and stay in the bottom 1/3rd for 150 frames. I pull the title clip to a longer duration but that does not affect the scroll on speed.

Is there a workaround for this issue or is this just written off as a 'feature'?

My Edius 5,5 currently works fine. I have no problems with Quick titlar at all. I am now waiting for the Edius 6,0.

Quick Titler Again!

Quick Titler freezes and the program must be restarted.
The same thing happens if I do System or Project settings, EDIUS 6:51 collapsing.
It is not enough to turn off virus protection, I have to uninstall the program, then work EDIUS!
Now I have to buy new Virus protection that works with EDIUS 6:51, but which?

I bought PCTools antivirus, I hope it will work with EDIUS 6:51. Right now I run EDIUS 6:51 with no problems, no dropouts since I got a new virus protection, it is only the titles that are made in Titler Pro has to be done on the Quick Titles, unfortunately.

what for (now removed) AV-programm exatly run in the past on your PC??

I know that if you have a Norton (consumer) or Symantec (enterprise) AV program you need to set up a SONAR exception for the GV License Manager folder or you'll get crashes in GVLM and subsequently Edius.
