  • Jason Ramsey, are you saying that trial+ right serial number+dongle is NOT EXACTLY the same as full version??? I believe that with broadcast dongle is suppose to work as broadcast one, or not?
BTW- if I have a dongle, what is the idea for serial number? What will happened if I will use the trial serial and dongle?

    • No, I'm not saying that at all... and I definitely wouldn't be one to answer that... my question was different (but poorly worded :) )

But, to your question, It sounds like they were saying the trial plus your serial, plus your dongle will be exactly the same.... Just a way of having a fresh install.

But, you do need a dongle and a serial #. Serial # is for when you install (unless you want it for only 30 days). Dongle gives you the features (in my case broadcast features) and the ability to use the product. If I take my dongle out, I can't use EDIUS.... Dongle just *basically* goes in place of product activation. You have to have both.

      And, scratch my question.

        • is 3.0 pentium 4 enough

I know that Edius 4.0 ++ calls for at least a 3.0 pentium 4 machine...so I wonder if I'll run into any bottlenecks with my Pent 4, 3.0 machine when I upgrade from 3.62 to 4.5? Anyone out there using this old (NOT dual core) technology and running Edius 4 easily...I must say that 3.62 just hums along with my older machine and original Storm card and 1 mb memory.

IF I have to upgrade the machine, to run Edius 4.5, I won't bother installing the upgrade on the older one, but use it as a secondary machine.

              No, just a "VIDEO_TS" structure

              • You can always download ImgTool Classic to create an ISO from the DVD folder.
