disc capture problem

I have captured an old project from dvd using disc capture and the saved file runs OK in windows media player.
However if I try to bring it into edius to re-edit the properties show as one frame only and I cannot get it onto the time line to edit
Am I doing something stupid?
Hopefully someone out there can help

go to plugin settings, mpeg importer, if PTS is ticked, untick it, if it is unticked, tick it, then capture again

the best bet is to use analogue capture from DVD player, it always works and audio is always in sync
