Change Clipcolor of multiple Clips

I do agree that a simple way would be helpfull (not sure if this was posted in the correct place yet, remember from a similar Post that BH recommended this to someone..), but to me its important, to find a solution right now..!

I know that there is no easy one, but there mus be a better one, than selecting 1000 of clips..!

As Rusty mentioned, the method to copy them into e temp-BIN would be helpfull, but i couldnt really put them back on TL in order..so any suggestion welcome..!

I guess it's important to select the topmost track ( to where the pasted clips should go ), before pasting.
Also the position of the play cursor should be correct ( probably at the very beginning of the timeline ).
Another guess is the correct setting of the 'insert mode' switch ( or even the ripple mode switch ).

Sorry, only guessing, as I didn't try this workaround, yet.

thanks for the hints,
i thought of this as well,
Rusty wrote back too and ill have another try..!

He told me, that V6 didnt change, allthough he asked for this..so seems to be some more waiting and that long-pain in the..PC..!

All right folks,

might be me, but i always fail once i try to drag n drop the clips back onto the timeline..it just happens to be out of order, no matter which setting i put-ripple, synch-modus, whatever..!

(mostly sound and titles come after the Video-clips, allthough it was all on top of each other before..)

I attatched some printscreens, hope i am just stupid and doing wrong at a certain point..!
