Trying to burn a disc from Edius 5.12 and we are getting this error" Encounter improper argument" and then disc burner shuts down. This is a SD project, 30 sec commerical.

are you using one or more sequences, or only one with the 30 sec ad?
did you mark in and out on timeline ruler?
be sure the export destination drive is NTFS and clear your temp folder just in caseAnton Strauss

I'm still receiving the error, Disc Burner "Encountered an improper argument" I have cleared temp files renamed project, any other suggestion? and what does "Encountered an improper argument" mean?

Sorry - no help, but there must be a an Edius programmer somewhere who came up with the 'Encountered an improper argument' error message.
Don't you just love those error messages - they may as well just say, "something has done something and what you wanted to do ain't gonna happen"!

'Encountered an improper argument' error message happened on older versions of E5 and it has been fixed in 5.12
maybe reapply update 5.12
