I'm missing several aspects, I think, of trying to convert 1920 x 1280 to a smaller Flash FLV.
Firstly, it seems the Canopus HQ converter changes size to 1440 x 1080. Am I missing something to retain the original size? Not sure it's relevant.
Everything I convert out of the Flash CS4 encoder comes out 4:3. Can't see what the deal is to get wide screen. Looks like I am choosing widescreen out options.
I must say, working in HD has a bit of a learning curve. Numerous new issues to consider as opposed to good ol' DV.
It'd be great if TGV had a bebst practices cookbook to address some of the common questions that reoccur. I do search the forum but there is an overwhelming amount of detail to get to the kernel.
I'm trying to get a widescreen FLV that is bandwidth-friendly and of the best possbile quality, given that constraint.
