Other NLE applications center the cursor on the timeline on the first press of zoom and then continue to zoom in or out accordingly. Edius leaves the cursor exactly where it is and zooms. This means if the cursor is to one side of the screen when you zoom, edius just leaves it there.
Is it just me or is this counter intuitive? When I zoom, I want to reveal the timeline equally, what has just passed and what is to come based on where the cursor is. That makes sense to me.
Is there anyway to fix this?
Thanks for your time.
