It is the RTM build of 64-bit Windows 7 Ultimate, which comes with WMP V12.0.7600.16385. Please note that this version number is slightly different from what you listed in your post.

Why not wait for the official Win 7 product? It will be out in 2 weeks time.

What I am wondering is if Edius is ready for 64 bit.....cause all I see on these posts is 32bit ...I am waiting for the official release of windows 7, but am very concerned about Edius on this 64 bit OS....and there is no word from GV about this as far as I see.. I see that it is working for some on Vista 64, but yet no official word on full support for it.....and now that we are looking at Windows 7, it makes me wonder how well it will perform

There has been official word on Vista 64 bit since the release of verision 5.
There are hardware drivers released. So I guess you are not informed correctly.
                  Please check your facts:
                  press release September 2008

                  quote:
As part of the improved workflow, EDIUS 5 runs on Microsoft's Windows Vista operating system; has new GPU-accelerated effects, has much-improved MPEG-2 processing through multi-threading and has Ikegami GigaFlash and AVC-Intra support, including export, as standard. And, for the first time, EDIUS supports Spanish, in addition to its other languages.
                  :end quote

                  website:

                  qoute:
                  Windows Vista Support

The driving force behind this release, EDIUS is now completely compatible with 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Microsoft's latest operating system. To make this happen, we have removed features that were previously incompatible, such as ProCoder Express for EDIUS and Xplode for EDIUS, and replaced them with brand
                  new components.

The support for Windows Vista also extends to current EDIUS hardware as well, making it possible for those who use our EDIUS NX and EDIUS SP NLE systems to make the switch to Windows Vista.
                  :end quote

There are many more official releases going back to the release of 5 .

                      But ... But ....

It does NOT imply that EDIUS will be 64 bits application. So - I hope I clarify this once and for all.

EDIUS today is only a 32 bits application, which can run on 64 bits OS (such as VISTA 64).

I have NO idea when GV is going to release an officially supported version for Windows 7.

I understand you buddy...that is why I asked if Edius is 64bits ready...I understand that it works with Vista64 bits, and that does not mean that it is 64bits.....

Today, I am already running EDIUS on VISTA 64. Therefore, EDIUS is already more than ready for 64 bits OS.
