Is there a way to place a rubberband/keyframe on multiple clips (video and audio) at once?
I want to fade the opacity to 0% on the video and fade the audio out to 0db.

    Thanks.

Is better if you don't put clips on the timeline?
Maybe I don get what you want to do. Can you explain it so we can help you?

In 3.62 you can create the VA fades for one clip then add this to all other clips that you group select, either by surround select all other, or click select each specific clip (group/add). Then drag the original fade VA to that/those other grouped clips.

I don't use VA tracks, instead I have 1V,2V...& 1A,2A because I need to split up my audio channels ie:Channel 1 camera mic and Channel 2 Lapel mic so I can manipulate them seperately.I want to do a simple fade in at the beginning and a fade out at the end of the sequence so there are no clips before or after it. Edius will let you put a dissolve at the edge of the clip but not a crossfade,go figure. I can use the shift + V command to set V-mute but I still have to select one clip at a time and can't copy and paste :( I wound up using a black color matte butted up against the audio clip and used crossfades which seemed a little faster.

You can't crossfade track-to-track transitions because there's no way for it to know what track you're fading to.
To crossfade, you need to add a fade to both tracks. At least if you're going track-to-track.

Personally, I try to use same-track transitions whenever possible.

My main concern is the audio fades. In my other editor i just right click select the edge of any clip and select add transition or press a favorite button on timeline to add defualt or fav # 1,2,3...xition.

Let's say I have one Video Track 1V and two audio tracks 1A Mono Channel 1 and 2A Mono Channel 2.
It's a 5 minute clip, the only clip in the sequence. In order to fade in and out the video my options are:
            1) add a dissolve at the beginning and end of the clip or 2) add two opacity nodes at the beginning and end of the clip.

In order to fade the audio channels in and out my options are 1) add two volume nodes (or v-mute) at the beginning and end of the clip or 2) use a color matte butted up against the audio clip and add crossfades.
"Am I missing something ? Anyone have a faster way? Also is there a way to copy and paste audio levels and pan and paste to another audio clip?

Just started using edius full time this week. So many ??? so little time. Thanks for your replies/ patience.

You're right - audio tracks don't have a keyer, so you can't add an audio crossfade to "nothing" like you can on a video track. You'd need a silent "dummy" clip to crossfade to/from.
