  • Hi Def not playing in windows media player

ok so saturday night 7 days ago I had to format my hard drive on account of my video codecs all messing up (some program I trialled messed everything beyond repair)

I have installed everything again after formatting.

Captured HDV tape Capture settings HDV Input
    Canpous hq
    1440 x 1080 50i

its fine in edius. crystal clear

BUT if i open it in windows media player it plays with fuzzy lines all over it. (pixelated stuff)

by the way, since I formatted my hard drive I lost my emails
(backed up the DBX files but unfortuantely something went wrong)

I had some PM's from bluetongue and another Edius forum member that were really helpful, but they were in my email.. they arent in my private messages on here now

    :(

do you have media player 11 and is it installed on same PC as Edius? also, desktop resolution needs to be (ideally) 1920x1080 or higher and 32bit colour setting
