I now face the same problem capturing from HDV deck. Does anybody knows what settings to use when I am capturing from Sony GV-HD700? This is a HDV tape deck, PAL setting. Connected by Firewire to the NX card. I have the daughterboard as well.
Previously, in EDIUS 5.10 - I would use prpject setting "NHX-E1 HD 50Hz 1920x1080 25p over 50i" and it would work. Now, I tried "NHX-E1 HD 50Hz 1920x1080 50i" as well - but, both of them don't work now, under EDIUS 5.12.
When I press F9 to capture, I get a grey screen, while the timecode keeps advancing. I can see the video being displayed on the GV-HD700 LCD screen.
