Batch export of regions on Timeline

In Vegas its possible to define regions on the timeline and then batch export/render. Is this possible in Edius?, Version? I have not upgraded to Edius Pro4 yet so still on Pro3. I normally edit with Edius but do audio in Vegas and some of these tasks that require some of these Vegas capabilities. It would be nice to stay in Edius especially when I have a long project like now( 2 hours and 40 mins) from which I want to extract small individual files. Like Sound Forge I would like to define regions with markers, name the region then batch export individual files with these files names that can be put on DVD for individuals.

Edius V4.5 (a free upgrade to V4.x) is supposed to have a batch export feature. ETA is somewhere around July/August.
