  • Edius hardware on laptop

Has anyone managed to get any of the Edius realtime cards working on a laptop?

I've heard about expresscard to PCIe boxes and think it might be worth a try. ie something similar to my macBook pro running through the aja IoHD.

I've not thought through storage though which will be a problem if the expresscard slot is occupied???

Not sure if anyone tried it here, but would be nice if someone did and reported back :)

As far as storage, you can always use FireWire 800, which isn't bad.

I don't think testing is the problem.
If anyone wants to send me a box I will do the test for the greater good. :)
