Upgrading 4.0 to 4.24

I'm currently running Edius 4.0 and wondering if there are any issues or interface changes I should be aware of before upgrading to version 4.24? Also, what are the most significant feature improvements in the latest version?

And what's the latest word on when version 4.5 will be available?

Two major caveats with 4.24, but I've managed to get over them until 4.5 comes here:

1) Node selection doesn't work, they stopped working after 4.03 patches
2) You can't delete markers by using V again.

SOME of us have had major problems with 4.24 and loud audio glitches appearing on the monitor out (see User Reported Issues). Apparently this is fixed when 4.5 comes out.
