  • HD STORM PLUS change Vout to component?

On my HD STORM PLUS card I have HDMI and 3 RCAs for Video out. When I edit SD video, I am connected to an external TV that only has RCA connections. (No Super).

When I connect the TV to the card on the green RCA, I only get black and white color. (obviously). Someone told me that there is a way to change the settings of the HD STORM card so that the green RCA will output component and then I can connect to only the green RCA and get full color on my external TV.

Anyone know how to do that? Where are the card settings?

    Thanks.

        re

yes, I meant composite. When using the green composite I get only a black and white picture.

This is what it says in the manual:

"You can directly connect the composite video cable to the green terminal."
(This gives me a black and white image)
"Use the analog video terminal conversion cable in the package and connect the red and blue terminals to the BAY, to connect to S terminal"

Ok, my TV only has an RCA in and the terminal cable is a super 4 pin. I went out and bought a little Svideo to RCA converter. Doesn't work.

          Resolved

All I had to do was change the Hardware setting in Edius:

HQX-E1 Settings \ Analog Output Settings \ Output Signal

          from Component to Composite/S-Video
