    Hi Dave
I was only commenting on his comment regarding interlace being more jittery than progressive which I took as if he started with an interlaced source and that can only be due to incorrect field order

Using Virtualdub it is easy to become confused with the field order between SD AVI and everything else, it has to cause the greatest number of problems for people I have ever seen, makes for good business though correcting DVD's for the unwary!

I dislike progressive due to the jitter on movement but I note a number of TV stations here are using it, stands out dreadfully.

Perhaps when averyone has 200hz TV's the problem will disappear and we will all follow

    Regards Bary
