Here's one you might enjoy. Last year I produced a short piece focusing on the stream here in our backyard in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains over the course of a year. The stream empties into the Ashokan Reservoir, the oldest of the west-of-Hudson River reservoirs for NY City.

I'm not trained in any of the film making crafts but here's a link to a micro budget film that I made:
I shot this on a second hand Panasonic HMC151 and it came with Neo 2.5 which I later upgraded. It took years to create because I work full time so my future projects will only ever be shorts!

Thanks for sharing. A lot of nice shots for "not being trained" etc... :) One suggestion - Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a bigger sensor. It will help with subject separation in a lot of shots. This will also raise the impression of your work. Yes! I want to try and find the finance next year to replace my ageing Panny. I really loved working with this camcorder and it never once let me down. Nearer the time I will see what is out there that has bigger sensors 4k and is affordable yet not too big/clumsy!Comment

Yes, I liked my HMC150. It was such an easy camera to use. I know what you are saying. You would like a larger sensor camcorder while keeping the same size of the HMC150. I agree, that would be a great tool. But if you are considering a more DSLR type, I can't say enough about the GH5 with the XLR audio unit accessory. Latest Project for Fun
I spent a couple of days exploring Sarah's Creek which is located near Clayton, GA in the Chattahoochee National Forest. Needed some time to decompress. Best viewed in 2K or 4k if your monitor supports it.
