    • Mark, glad you finally started doing outputs as 4K. Even with a 1080 panel, I can see the difference. Very Nice indeed.

          • Hi Mark

out of curiosity, how large is the 4k version because it does not play here, not even after waiting 10min buffering

it is almost as if the whole file needs to be downloaded before it plays

my internet speed is 80,000 down and 30,000 up but that means nothing when it comes to YT and Vimeo because there is a great Ocean between AU and USA

your HD 1080 version plays right away

            • Well that is strange. The re-compressed 4k vimeo version is 352MB. The original upload was 850MB. You can try viewing the Youtube version at https://youtu.be/9N6RSmOe2sw

              • the Youtube version works fine in 4k without buffering

maybe Vimeo place the file header at the end of the file (which is wrong), which requires all 350MB to be downloaded before it plays?

Relatively new to Edius Forum and found this thread a day or so ago and have been watching some of the recent DVs, which I've been enjoying - Thanks! Great to see Edius being showcased and hope to see more. Here is a recent DV I have whipped up with Edius, hope you enjoy.

This short documentary (Available in HD - Use the "cog" gadget lower RHS to go 1920x1080 for best quality! :^) uncovers the truth about who was behind 'hacking' Australia's Federal Hansard! Made as a tribute/advertisement for @Wragge (on Twitter) and former Director of Trove Australia, Tim Sherratt's Historic Hansard site through the eyes of #KimberleyHistory - NOT #FakeNews - #FakeTweets! - #RealHansard! - #RealHistory!

I've suggested we get a drone for telling some histories with aerial enhancements, to our Historical Society and now have the go-ahead, looking at Mavic Pro but waiting to see what else may emerge.
