Lurved the pan and scan effect while doing the timelapse. It's fantastic the way Edius lets you look into the detail from the high resolution photofiles. It sort of added an extra dimension to the extra dimension. The use of digital SLRs for timelapse does raise the issue of duty cycle for these cameras. If you assume that lower end cameras have a mechanism capable of say 45,000photos, then each sequence of 3 miniutes at 25 fps would take 4500 shots. You would only get to use your camera 10 times before it broke! I might hold off on the 7D for timelapse and get something a little more disposable.
