    • Here are my first two videos

Here are my first two videos with Edius Pro 7. Would appreciate feedback, suggestions, and affirmation :)

Stonehill Live at Sojourner's - King of Hearts

Stonehill Live at Sojourner's - Keep Me Running

Concert video was shot on my Canon 60D DSLR. I used a Zoom H4n for audio recording, and ran the output from that into the camera's mic input. I did some equalization on the audio track to try to pull the voice forward as it was otherwise muddy from room acoustics. For video I used some noise reduction, and moderate sharpening. I added beginning and ending wrappers to each video, to introduce the concert event at the beginning, and list some credits at the end. So, I think its pretty basic editing at this point. I'm open to ideas! Thanks!

      • The marriage of Kristoff Brunet de Courssou & Egla Didvalyte

My first wedding video done free for my loving hippy friends. Filmed at their house and in the Australian bush on a 44 degree day. Did the filming between 2 pm and 8:30 pm last Thursday, then edited 9 am to 9 pm and 9 am to 1 am Friday / Saturday.

Used my new c100 and the 2nd cam was an Olympus OMD em5 (for the ceremony capture). **** olympus keeps shifting its exposure during video.

        • "Aloha Kaua`i" - 3 Lumix Gs

Somehow I've found myself owning three Panasonic Lumix G cams, a GH2, GH3, and GM1. I used all three of them to shoot this little "watch me play guitar" video.

I usually use several cameras locked down because I'm the crew and talent at the same time, but for this one I set up a board between two chairs and persuaded a buddy to roll the GH3 back and forth for some "slider" action. The Edius stabilizer effect really came in handy, transformed the shot.

So many wonderful versions of "Aloha Kaua`i" - Ozzie Kotani included it on his "Kani Ki Ho`alu" CD, the beloved Wai`ehu Sons on their LP, but Mike Kaawa's sw...

          • Very nice, Fran. You might want to look at color correcting the cameras a bit so they match better from shot to shot.

              Hello Everyone!

This is the first time we have posted any of our work on the Edius forum, but thought this was a good place to share.

Here is a Music Video we produced and Edited a little while ago on Edius 6 with some magic bullet grades.

Our DP was recognized for his work with a Cinematography award as well, which was a nice bonus.

It is sad what these girls have to go trough. I do hope that stories like this help to make things better and change thinking in society.

They both look great. Love the tone of the Myanmar one, the high contrast with the night time and the gold look brilliant.
