I made this video last autumn with Edius:

I find Edius very efficient, but at the same time it's hard to do color correction using default filters. I wish someday it'll be possible to export project at least for AE
You need to watch Matt's tutorials for color grading.

    • Fiona's Atlantic Islands Adventure...

I have a friend who spends his life sailing. He and his crew shoot video along the way and then I edit it into an hour long documentary. Nothing professional about this in terms of video quality but the trips are very interesting. This was the latest one and the first time I edited in Edius (formerly a Liquid user). Edited over four days from 8 hours of source AVCHD video. Edius performed without a hitch.

      Hope you enjoy the video...

BTW, this was one hour of 720p video compressed into the free 500MB limit on Vimeo using Sorenson Squeeze. Not bad considering. The original source file and the SD DVD out of Edius 6.0.8 look great, BTW.

Very nice work Dave. Love the second video 'go deep' and the way you have woven the story throughout the film.
Did you shoot the arial scenes in NZ too?
